3200 kilometers from Buenos Aires, it is the capital of the province of Tierra del Fuego, Antártida e Islas del Atlántico Sur and at the same time is the southern-most city in the world. Its beauty is due to its surroundings: mountains, sea, forests, and lakes It has a very solid high-quality infrastructure for land, sea, and air excursions during the entire year. Among its principal attractions are Lake Escondido, Glaciar Martial, and the beautiful channels, prairies to the north, forests to the south, crystal lakes with excellent fishing, and thermal rivers with proven therapeutic qualities. For all of this, the province of Tierra del Fuego is very generous: because in the paradise at the End of the World, the adventure begins. There is a wide variety of classic excursions to enjoy. The main ones are the Museum at the End of the World, the Maritime Museum, Glaciar Martial, the Tierra del Fuego National Park, the areas of the lakes Escondido and Fagnano, the Harberton and Moat ranches, the Monte Castor winter center, and also the possibility of a trip on the train at the End of the World, or in snow-sleds pulled by dogs. We can also navigate through the Beagle Channel. |
