Lagos del Furioso

Estancia La Maipú

Truchaike Lodge

These ranches of Patagonia are agricultural and livestock establishments where the principal residences have been adapted to receive guests.
All of them have the particularity of, in addition to offering comfortable lodging, allowing the visitor to participate in the typical activities of the Argentine ranch.
The guests can go horseback riding, play sports, observe the flora and fauna, as well as sharing the daily activities of the gauchos (the Argentine cowboys) that work there.
The habitual tasks are rounding up the livestock, the sheathing of the sheep, marking the animals, cattle branding, and it is also common to see a taming or breaking in of the horses, or a competition of improvised verses that are sung and accompanied by a guitar--as well as other activities related to rural life and the local folklore.
Lodging on the ranches allows us to enjoy exquisite meals based on excellent meats and the famous Argentine wines.
Different from a hotel, on the ranch the visitor receives a more personalized service which makes one feel like a special guest of the owner of the house more than a passenger in a hotel.
The ranches offer the visitor the possibility of sharing special moments in the daily life of the gaucho, watching him work with his horse, etc.; these establishments continue normally with their agricultural and animal production
, with a peculiar form of life where one practices and respects the old traditions.
