THE PROVINCE
OF CHUBUT :
Located
in the center of the Patagonian region, this dilated territory extends
itself from the the Andes Mountains to the Atlantic Ocean. It offers
different climatic contrasts and a panorama of diverse touristic options,
including Peninsula Valdéz, to observe the whales, the faunistic
reserves of Punta Tombo and Camarones, the forests and lakes at the
foothills of the mountains which are ideal for skiing, and the typical
meseta that extends itself into the sea, offering a special landscape
to the zone of Rada Tilly and Comodoro Rivadavia. We also have an important
geological reserve: The Petrified Forest of Sarmiento. All of these
form the main offerings in a land where silence and peace predominate.
